Decoration Methods

Koozie Group offers your customers a wide variety of imprint options designed to maximize their brand’s message and impact.
Screen Print Decoration Method

Screen Print

The process of forcing specialized ink through a stenciled, fine-mesh screen. A screen is required for each color of the imprint. Nonstandard imprint color match is available. For IMAGEN Brands, this method was known as Screen.

Digital 4CP Vinyl Decoration Method

Full Color Imprint

Our Full-Color imprint method is sure to make your product stand out from the crowd at affordable prices. For IMAGEN Brands, this method was known as Color Surge. This is the ideal imprint method for half tones, photographs, or complex artwork. The term Full Color now encompasses our previous britePix®, PrismMax™, and digital 4-color decorating methods to offer vibrant, photographic quality and full-color imprints simplified under one name. Full-Color techniques vary from a direct digital imprint to a combination of 4-color process with laminating or heat transfer paper onto the product. Customization with variable data is available for select products. PMS matches cannot be done with Full-Color imprint method.

Pad Print Decoration Method

Pad Print

Having won several awards for pad printing on golf balls, image complexity is not an issue. Your logo is recessed into a plate; then, a pad is dipped into the plate and pressed onto the product to transfer the ink. Nonstandard imprint color match is available.

Heat Transfer Decoration Method

Heat Transfer

Multi-layer imprints can be created by screening art onto transfer paper, cutting it to size, and then applying each layer one by one using a combination of heat and pressure. For IMAGEN Brands, this method was known as Image Lock.

Dye Sublimation Decoration Method

Dye Sublimation

This is a multi-layered process where an imprint is printed onto transfer paper using special dyes and then transferred onto a product surface using a combination of heat and pressure. The special dyes allow for improved bonding to the product fibers, leaving a long-lasting imprint. Dye sublimation is a popular choice for mousepads. For IMAGEN Brands, this method was known as Sublimation.

Embroidery Decoration Method

Embroidery

Products are placed in a vice called a hoop to keep the fabric tight while the embroidery machine stitches. In cases where the fabric has high pile fibers, knock-down stitches are needed before the final design is stitched. Knock-down stitches are additional stitches to keep high pile fibers from interfering with the visual aesthetics of the final embroidered design.

Laser Engraving Decoration Method

Laser Engraving

Cutting or etching the logo into the wood or metal surface of a product.

Deep Etch Decoration Method

Deep Etch

Sandblasting an imprint to create a more visible, textured etching into a glass or crystal award.

Image 3 Decoration Method

Image 3

A unique way to showcase a logo or symbol. 3D images are created by a specialized laser inside optical crystal blocks.

BritePix Decoration Method

Die-Cast Medallion

Casting an imprint into a brass (gold) or zinc (silver) metal medallion and then mounting them into the surface of the product. The method results in a raised imprint.

Foil Stamping Decoration Method

Foil Stamping

Using a metal die, colored foil and a heat/pressure machine, the imprint is pressed into the surface and the foil remains adhered to the imprint.

Debossing Decoration Method

Debossing

The combination of pressure and heat leaves the imprint depressed into the product surface.

Offset Printing Decoration Method

Offset Printing

A process in which the inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket and then onto the paper surface. Nonstandard imprint colors available.

Please note: For each additional imprint color (if available), it can add a minimum of 1 business day. For each additional location: call for quote. Above does not reflect any additional charges that may be incurred.
